UnitaryHack at RIFT Labs

RIFT Labs invites students, researchers, developers, and quantum enthusiasts to join our local UnitaryHack gathering on June 15, starting at 9:30 AM. This will be a hybrid event, with an in-person hub at Pangborn Hall 308 and an online participation option for registered attendees.

Who Should Join?

This event is open to anyone interested in quantum computing, open-source software, scientific computing, or learning how to contribute to real technical projects. You do not need to be an expert. Whether you are making your first GitHub pull request or already working with quantum software libraries, this is a chance to learn, collaborate, and contribute.

What to Expect

Participants will explore open-source quantum projects, select issues to work on, receive guidance from the RIFT Labs team, and contribute to the broader UnitaryHack effort. The event is designed to support both beginners and experienced contributors.

Qiskit Fall Fest 2025 at CUA: A Hybrid Quantum Community Experience

RIFT Labs at The Catholic University of America, in collaboration with IBM Quantum, will host Qiskit Fall Fest 2025 on October 27–29, 2025. This free, three-day hybrid event features talks and hands-on sessions on quantum computing with Qiskit, fundamental quantum algorithms, dynamic quantum circuits, quantum optimization, and related topics, led by invited speakers from academia and industry.
